Jane (born Yevgenya Jane Petrosyan; 06/07/1987) is an Armenian-American singer, artist, and entrepreneur. She currently resides in Glendale, California. 

1987-2001: Early Life

Jane was born in Yerevan, Armenia. She grew up in Nor Nork, Yerevan until the age of 7. In 1994, her family relocated to Glendale, CA until 1997. She was always a creative child. She attended the K-10 school, N 62 in Yerevan and Horace Mann Elementary during her time in America. From 1998 to 2000, Jane was part of the Arai Dance Show under the instruction of Dina Akopovna.

2001-2004: Early Career in Entertainment

Jane began modeling in 2001 at the Anna Rossi Academy. Beginning in 2002, she participated in many beauty pageants including Miss Yerevan where she won the title of Miss Freedom and Miss Ashakertuhi where she won Miss Nor Nork. During this period of time, Jane also found a passion for singing. She often performed Brittany Spears covers for the talent portion of her pageants. Soon after, Jane began a singing career and was signed by Urvakanner Records. Her debut album included 13 songs. She made three music videos produced by Arsen Aslanian and Haik Ordian. She performed all over Yerevan, including Krunk Paratone (an Armenian music festival), and the Sundukyan State Academic Theatre. She continued to make music until age 17. She took a hiatus from her music career until 2022.

2005-2009; Marriage and Family Life

Jane married young. She fell in love with a fan and was quickly married by age 17. Her and her husband, Emil Nikoghosyan, had a loving marriage and welcomed two beautiful children (2005, 2007). Shortly after their marriage, her parents and her sister moved to America. She chose to stay behind to be with her family. She was accepted to Yerevan State University of Language and Social Sciences of Valeriy Brusov 2. However, it was difficult for her to attend school full time and juggle her familial responsibilities. During this time, Jane was a homemaker and did not continue her studies as to take care of her family. Unfortunately, due to irreconcilable differences, the couple split in 2009. However, the remain good friends to this day and coparent their two children. 

2010-2016: Life in Armenia; Moving to America

Following her divorce, Jane began working at Elbat, a supplier of lead acid batteries. She was an executive assistant to the President of the company from 2010-2012. She opened her own salon in 2012 named Aphrodita in Yerevan, Armenia. She quickly closed this business and decided instead to go to Bonita Hair Salon to learn to become a hairstylist, being an apprentice under Almast Sarkisyan. She continued to work as a hair stylist at Bonita until 2014. She worked at Gogi Style Beauty Salon from from 2014 until late 2016. In 2015, she was invited to play a role in the Armenian movie, Lsum Es Indz Chakatagir. Afterwards, she played a starring role in Nana Karapetyan’s music video for the song, “Gna.” In late 2016, she moved to America with her daughter to join her family. 

2016-2021″ Life in America

Jane’s move to America signaled a major change in her life. She relocated to Glendale, CA and moved in with her parents. She began working at a healthcare facility as a receptionist in December of 2016. She was promoted to a management position within one year. She continued here until February 2018. Soon after, she worked at other healthcare facilities until 2020 in an office capacity. She started her own business in late 2020 and was focused on her business and entrepreneurial pursuits. 

2022-Present: Return to Singing and Entertainment 

Jane was asked by film producers to return to acting in March 2022, grabbing starring roles in the film “Korupcia 2” and the sitcom, “9rd Dproc.” She also began working with vocal coach, Christine Pepelian in March of 2022. She is currently represented by Arman Petrosyan (no family relation to Jane Petrosyan). Her return to music was prompted by encouragement from Angie Bonilla, who now represents her PR in America. She is recording seven songs as part of her debut album and return to the music industry. Her first single, “Im Srti Doghn Es” was released on May 21, 2022.
